Here is a review of my book Introduction to Computer DJing & CPS.
Charles Snyder III is the computer guru for the DJ world. His books explain in detail how to set up a computer system that is as bullet-proof as the rest of your DJ setup. He explains things in a clear, straight forward way. I was a real fan of the lightweight laptop before I read his books (yes, I’ve read them!), and he convinced me that when I build my CPS, I should leave the laptop at home where it will be safe. He goes over components, techniques, and yet he lets the final choices up to the reader. But, as a reader, you will have enough information to make an educated choice.
Charles does have a warped sense of humor, but he doesn’t fool around when it comes to computers. I’ve seen his personal CPS, and it is plain to see he practices what he preaches. I look forward to his next book, and I will continue to be a student of a worthy teacher.
