Charles E. Snyder III

Born and raised in a small blue-collar, conservative town in southern Pennsylvania, Charles achieved a level of success that few would have ever expected: by age 40 he was a published author, a public/motivational speaker and the owner of several small businesses.  He became the Vice President of Sales in a local branch of a privately held company, increasing sales by more than $100,000 in the first six months.  He was also the President of a local chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association from 2006 through 2009 during which time he increased chapter membership by more than 200%.

Prior to his business successes, Charles was a veteran firefighter of nearly 20 years, before being critically injured in the line of duty.  During his career he was recognized for his service with several commendations and leadership awards as well as being nominated for the WGAL Jefferson Award when he was injured but still rescued several people from a deadly apartment house fire, saving their lives.  After several surgeries and a lengthy recovery, he has been working on getting reinstated as a fire fighter and obtaining training as a fire instructor.

Charles is currently a member of the American Disc Jockey Association, Lancaster County Speakers Bureau, Toastmasters International, Lia Allen & Associates – Business Marketing Gym and is the founder of DeeJayMasterMind.com.

Charles makes the time to spend with family or friends, especially his young niece and nephew. He also donates his expertise and services to several local churches or consulting them for their technology needs as well as providing the same for a local volunteer fire department.

As a Speaker

Charles has made presentations and speeches to entrepreneurs and students at the high school and college levels all across the United States with increasing frequency during the last 15 years.  He has also been featured as the Keynote Speaker at a number of local, regional and national level conventions for the Mobile Disc Jockey Industry as well as a podcast personality since 2005.

As an Author

Charles currently has four books published and is working on three more projects for publication.  His first three books covered the explosion of computer technology used in the entertainment industry and his fourth book covered website design, social media and Internet marketing.  His current projects include one book on wedding planning, another book on business success and a third one is a science-fiction title; all while recently becoming a staff writer for Examiner.com.
